Shiver
VIZ continues to send shivers up our spines as they pick up even more Junji Ito stories for publication! The volume, titled "Shiver" doesn't look like it will have any brand new stories, but will include 9 short stories that haven't previously been official licensed in English, and which have been chosen by the man himself. Their website even hints at a few (The Fashion Model, Coldness/The Chill, and The Hanging Balloons). (source)
The hardcover volume is available for preorder on Amazon, running $17.70, and is expected to be released on December 19, 2017.

Layers of Fear
It's been a while, but Junji Ito has a brand new story to start off 2017. 'Layers of Fear' was published in Nemuki magazine on 2/3/2017. So far this one-shot doesn't have a scanlation, but hopefully it's something to look forward to in the future!
Also, Dissolving Classroom is available on Amazon for under $10, which is a great deal, and of course supports a great artist and storyteller.

Tomie Hardcover by VIZ

| Give it to usssss! |
If the Amazon pre-order page is accurate, this newest omnibus will run $35 and will be released on December 20, 2016.
In the meantime, I'd like to marvel over how much momentum Junji Ito has been getting over the past two years alone. Two titles re-released (Uzumaki, Gyo), two new volumes (Cat Diary, Fragments), and now Tomie. Since 2002 a few different publishers have been trying to introduce and re-introduce his stories into English, and finally they've found some traction. Herein lies the importance of purchasing physical copies! Let the publishers know that we want them to keep 'em coming!

Timeline
Ever wonder just how convoluted and confusing Junji Ito releases are?
Wonder no more, thanks to KoyanagiLulu.
Much of the mess comes from the fact that most of his smaller volumes are compiled and re-released as whole new volumes. The Junji Ito Kyoufu Collection, for instance. Which was then re-compiled for the English release, Museum of Horror.
Between 2011-2014 those covers you may not recognize are from a series that he only illustrated, Yuukoku no Rasputin (written by Takashi Nagasaku).

While this volume has already been scanlated by the amazing iemonsy, definitely be sure to pick up a physical copy when it comes out June 2015 to show publishers that WE WANT MORE.
